(Maha-Chela) Steve Boniello is a musician and music educator currently residing in the Hudson Valley, NY area. His passion is for the bass and he is a player and teacher of the instrument. He offers lessons online and in person. See the Lessons page for more details.

From studying music at Berklee College of Music in Boston and graduating from Naropa University in Boulder, CO, he has experience with both disciplined musical practice as well as yogic practices and spiritual studies that shape his approach to music and teaching. As his mentor and Guru Tisziji Munoz says “Spirit First, Heart First”. These are words to live by.
